This position is based at our Carol Stream, IL location. The Material Handler is responsible for operating a forklift to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. The Operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle and may also be required to perform Order Filler and Checker duties. The hourly rate for this position is $21.05 per hour. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do: • Follow all health and safety procedure and regulations as dictated by the organization and the state • Operate forklift with care and with awareness to people and environment around machine and ensure it is properly stored, cleaned and ready to operate • Perform maintenance on machine as needed • Follow and update inventory activity, lists, records, and log all completed tasks as needed/by end of day • Stack and organize large bulk items • Remove inventory from trucks or shipping and delivery to proper location & carry inventory for shipping to proper truck • Move inventory/materials from facilities to workstations, pick-up locations, or other locations • Make note and request any damaged parts or replacements needed
