ResponsibilitiesLocate and deliver parts and components to lines as requiredMonitor materials on Kanban and turn-in as neededPrepare shipmentsReceive, count, inspect shipments and move to proper locationsLoad outgoing and unload incoming shipmentsInteract with vendors and shippers in a professional and safe mannerRead and understand technical documentsUses inventory management system to receive and store products, maintain accurate counts, and pick/distribute products to assemblyKeep paperwork up to dateTransport hazardous material as neededRoutinely inspect fork truckMaintain daily time recordsSupport APS (Altec Production System) initiatives. May participate in continuous improvement eventsMove to other work areas to support production needs (cross-train)Effectively assist and train new/current associatesFollow established safety, environmental and quality policies, procedures, and practices to include proper use and care of PPEMaintain work area and shop tools/equipmentShows commitment to Altec core valuesAdhere to Altec's attendance policyOther job duties as assigned Basic Qualifications: have the ability to read, write, and comprehend.have basic computer usage knowledge and experience.
