**Description**

This 2nd shift position will be responsible for all aspects of material used by the shop, such as receiving material, verifying its accuracy and allocating the material to operators on a per schedule and per request basis. This person will also be trained and required to support the Shipping and Receiving Departments as well as Outside Processing & Inventory Departments.

**Essential Job Functions:**

* Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.

* Receive and put away raw material

* Issue material to shop floor

* Process Work Orders/Picklists in Shipping & Receiving

* Perform daily maintenance on fork trucks

* Housekeeping in the plant (picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening)

* Assist with Picking Orders & Cycle Counts in Raw Material & Finished Goods Inventory.

* Assist with Making Local Deliveries & Pick-Ups in Company Truck.

* Other duties as required

**Skills & Abilities:**

* Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, manufacturing environment.

* Effective communication and understanding of job instructions both verbally and written.

**Education & Experience:**

* High School Diploma or GED preferred.

* Minimum of two (2) years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

* Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.

* Ability to read, write and interpret blueprints and schematics

* Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers

* Clean, valid drivers license

* Forklift operating experience

* Ability to work with minimal supervision

* Ability to work flexible hours and over time when required to meet customer demand.

**Physical Requirements:**

* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly working with mechanical equipment, tools, and parts.

* Ability to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses or hearing protection if appropriate for the area.

* Ability to lift, pull, or push equipment requiring up to 25-50 lbs. of force.
