Job Type Full-time Description Kondex is looking for a Material Handler to join the Shipping and Receiving department. Current opening on 2nd shift 2nd shift hours: Monday - Friday 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate sit down propane forklift to load and unload parts and materials.
- Operator other lift devices such as overhead cranes, reach trucks, etc.
- Oil parts throughout the day.
- Close requests on iPad.
- Enter and delete locations when removing or returning to racking.
- Empty swarf and scrap hoppers.
- Perform 5S activities, including on forklifts.
- May assist in training full time, part time, and temporary associates in the material handler position.
- The responsibilities listed above are not all encompassing of what may be asked of associates in this position.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Prior forklift operating experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions.
- Self-starter.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
