This role is a union role on second shift from 2pm-10:30pm. Overtime will be required when needed as well as every 5th weekend (paid overtime). Ideal candidate will be trained to conduct wastewater sampling and expected to drive a forklift within the facility.Essential Job Functions:Responsible for filling all packaged products (drums and totes) that are needed.Print all product labels needed for products.Prepare transfer sheets of packaged material to send to shipping.confirm proper product labels and hazard labels are on all packaging.Record packaging data, such as weighs, tanks, batch numbers, etc for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.Use of bar code technology, systems and hardwareAttends, and participates in all team daily meetingsPerforms periodic safety inspectionsEnters work requests for repairs and maintenanceActively participate in safety protocolsResponsible for off shift wastewater maintenance coverage on shift and rotating weekend.Coordinate actions with various departments in plant; shipping, operations, Quality Control and other departments as needed.Ability to operate a fork truck and yard tractor.Use computers for various applications, such as database management SAP,Must be able to operate a forklift and yard tractor.Answer telephones, read and respond to emails and provide information to appropriate individuals.Create LabelsOperate office equipment, such as copiers, and printers and arrange for repairs when equipment malfunctions.Complete forms in accordance with company procedures.Coordinate projects or contribute to committee or teamwork.Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications & Experience:High School diploma or GED equivalent requiredManufacturing and Plant experience preferredAbility to work 2nd shift (2-10:30pm) and weekends when requiredAbility to operate forklift, yard tractor or spotter truckSAP label printing experience preferrableArxada has world class offering in three distinct areas: Consumer Microbial Control (CMC) focuses on the threat posed by microorganisms to people, with products spanning the food and drink, professional hygiene, home and personal care, crop protection and wood protection areas.
