Our experience in Plastic Injection Molding, has allowed us to develop an experienced team in all aspects of Plastics Manufacturing, from product design to shipping logistics, and everything in between.SummaryThe Material Handler is responsible for supplying materials to machines, storing finished products, assisting with machine setups and general housekeeping throughout the Production Floor. This position operates under direction of the Shift Foreman.Essential FunctionsMaterial and Color a. Remove old material and color from machine, returning to stock. b. Empty and clean old material from Hopper Loader. c. Empty and clean old color from Color machines. d. Bring new material and color to machine. e. Supply Hopper Loader to machines and ovens. Load Hopper Loader. f. Keep machines stocked with material and color throughout the shift. g. Ensure that material containers are full at the end of the shift. h. Keep material and color containers covered at all times.Work Cells a. Palletize, label and store finished products via forklift in a safe and timely manner. b. Supply Cartons, dividers to machine for current job. Remove and return items to stock when job is complete. c. Supply and label scrap container at machine. Remove and properly store container when full. d. Assist in Setup of Machines- complete Setup Signoff Sheet.Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
