Material Handlers are responsible for the movement (receive, stock, pick, package, and ship) of products to maintain inventory in the warehouse and to fill customer orders. All Material Handlers flex to different areas within the warehouse as business need requires.Job ResponsibilitiesReceive, stock, pull, package, label, palletize, weigh and ship products to maintain inventory in the warehouse and to pull/fill orders for shipments to customers accurately and on timeOperate and read hand-held RF Unit to ascertain part number, quantity, and location of productsDetermine products and location in order to count and pull the correct amount of product to accurately fill ordersQuickly read and understand shop orders and ascertain part numbers and quantities needed per each packageAccurately package and label each carton/packageUnload trucks replenish shelves and load trucks either manually or using mechanized material handling equipment including sit-down and stand-up forklifts and runnersCount and bag parts per quantity specified on order and label bags with part number and quantityRetrieve/pull product from bins or shelves either manually or using various types of mechanized material handling equipmentComplete verbal requisition of products from overstock for replenishing active inventory when necessaryPerform minimal preventive maintenance activitiesBackground & SkillsRequired (Basic) QualificationsHigh School diploma or GED from an accredited institution is requiredOne (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment for warehouse facilityMust be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship Must be local-no relocation offeredJob CriteriaRepetitive bending and lifting up to 40 poundsStand-up forklift experienceEmployee BenefitsWe are excited to offer you the following benefits with your employment:Paid vacation401k Retirement PlanPersonal insuranceOpportunity to join Employee Resource GroupsEmployee Referral ProgramThis list does not promise or guarantee any particular benefit or specific action.
