Job Description About the Role - Effectively runs grinders to maintain clean, usable regrind material.
- Ensures completion of metal detection system tests as required and effectively communicates issues to shift lead and maintenance.
- Communicates to shift lead and maintenance when mechanical issues arise.
- Accurately completes all paperwork and delivers to supervisor at end of each shift.
- Maintains housekeeping and organization of salvage and HFI areas.
- Actively supports the injection department by assisting fellow operators with machine issues and assists with relieving fellow operators for breaks.
- Attends shift meetings as required.
- Completes other tasks as assigned by supervisor or manager.
