Every product that leaves our factory has been designed, engineered, and produced for exclusive use in North America. Thermo Products, LLC is a subsidiary of Burnham Holdings, Inc .and is respected as a quality leader in its market. We are seeking a Material Handler to join our team! This position will oversee the tracking of warehouse stock, documenting orders, and storing merchandise. You will also possess in-depth knowledge of various warehouse machinery and equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and stand-up reach trucks. This is a middle-level position. This is full-time, hourly position located in Denton, NC. Hours are Monday - Friday 7 am - 3:30 pm, with some variations depending on need. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Analyzing pick sheets based on production orders and pulling the appropriate products for each order.
  • Transfering inventory from storage areas and production areas, physically and in ERP system.
  • Communication with warehouse supervisor for pick-ups or returns.
  • Putting parts in assigned locations.
  • Cycle Counting
  • Following inventory practices and procedures to ensure accuracy.
  • Collaborate and work with internal departments
  • Operating various machinery including pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts to handle materials and inventory.
  • Tracking supply levels and regularly submitting purchasing recommendations.
  • Backup receiving department by unloading deliveries and documenting receipts of inventory as needed.
  • Complying with all safety and health regulations.
  • Any other duties as Required
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Inventory software (ERP) and scanner experience preferred.
  • Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) forklift certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent physical fitness with the ability to lift up to a maximum of 30 pounds.
  • Availability to work overtime including weekends, public holidays, and evenings.
  • Outstanding organizational and communication skills.
