We are focused on safety and driven by service.PAY: $16-17 Hourly - 11:00 pm - 7:15 am (Sunday - Thursday)BENEFITS OFFERED AT UNIVERSAL PURE:Employer-sponsored medical, dental, vision and EAP401(k) with company matchPaid vacation and holidays that start accruing your first week!Multiple medical plans (PPO and HDHP)Voluntary disability plans, accident insurance, critical illness, hospital indemnity, AD&D and Life insuranceA culture of people development and internal career growthA culture of caring, collaboration and respectMATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATORS DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Coordinate and prioritize the operations tasks directed by the department Supervisor and/or LeadWill operate the Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Double EPJ and/or other power equipment to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materialsCommunicate and execute work assignments to meet set expectations by department and customer requirementsCommunicate with all staff and departments such as the supervisors, support staff, leadership, delivery drivers and front-line employeesPrepare duty-related paperworkEscalate work-related and interpersonal issues to leadership as neededPerform quality checks and report failures to supervisor/leadHandle any minor tasks related to duties of the positionFollow health, safety, and cleanliness standardsExcellent attendance and punctuality for an hourly roleMATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATORS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:High School Diploma/GED preferredMust have at least 1 year of continuance and current experience operating a Stand-Up Reach Forklift and Double EPJExperience using warehouse management and inventory systems preferredOrder picking/selector experienceExperience with refrigeration, warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment preferredAttention to detail and commitment to accuracyAbility to work a flexible schedule that includes potential overtime, weekends and different work schedulesAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to perform basic mathematical calculationsAbility to balance productivity, quality, and safetyAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong Organizational, Interpersonal & Multitasking SkillsAbility to work under pressureMATERIAL HANDLER/FORKLIFT OPERATORS WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: *This is largely a static role with standing, however, the ability to perform repetitive bending and standing up is also required. This would require the ability to lift 10-35 lbs. repetitively and up to 45 lbs. occasionally.This role operates in a wet and cold/refrigerated environment (between 35- and -20-degrees Fahrenheit) located within a manufacturing, warehousing, and production-type facility.
