Job Title: Material Handler - GMP Inventory Location: North Billerica, MA (Onsite) Duration: 6 months to permanent, full-time Shift : 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Payrate: $28/Hr on W2Job Responsibilities
- Ensure timely receipt, storage, control, and distribution of raw materials, finished goods, and expensed items.
- Execute receipt transactions utilizing ERP/MRP software applications.
- Support inventory cycle-count program and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide Materials Handling support to Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Quality, and other site customers.
- Ensure safe work environment and adjust daily schedule to meet manufacturing demands.
- Support sampling of incoming materials and delivery of samples to testing laboratories.
Essential Functions
- Inspect, account for, and receive materials utilizing ERP computer application systems.
- Resolve ERP/MRP issues related to Materials operations.
- Manage materials storage, monitoring, and disposition following established SOPs.
- Execute accurate inventory transactions for raw materials, finished goods, and packaging components.
- Maintain product/lot segregation in compliance with FDA and cGMP guidelines.
- Interact with Planning and Procurement departments to resolve vendor receipt issues.
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma with 4 years of experience, Associates with 2 years of experience, or Bachelors degree with 1 year of experience.
- Experience driving a forklift required.
- Previous experience managing chemicals or materials with expiration dates in FDA/GMP regulated Pharmaceutical or related industry required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Experience procuring using ERP/MRP in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Other Requirements
- Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory practices.
- Successful completion of GMP, radiation, occupational, and safety training programs.
- Meet physical and OSHA requirements for job position.
- Flexibility to handle changing priorities and sound technical skills.
- Proven organizational skills and initiative.
- Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience driving a 26' Box truck or equivalent delivery vehicle.
