Job Description:
Job Title: Material Handler - GMP Inventory Location: North Billerica, MA (Onsite) Duration: 6 months to permanent, full-time Shift : 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Payrate: $28/Hr on W2Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure timely receipt, storage, control, and distribution of raw materials, finished goods, and expensed items.
  • Execute receipt transactions utilizing ERP/MRP software applications.
  • Support inventory cycle-count program and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide Materials Handling support to Manufacturing, Supply Chain Operations, Quality, and other site customers.
  • Ensure safe work environment and adjust daily schedule to meet manufacturing demands.
  • Support sampling of incoming materials and delivery of samples to testing laboratories.
Essential Functions
  • Inspect, account for, and receive materials utilizing ERP computer application systems.
  • Resolve ERP/MRP issues related to Materials operations.
  • Manage materials storage, monitoring, and disposition following established SOPs.
  • Execute accurate inventory transactions for raw materials, finished goods, and packaging components.
  • Maintain product/lot segregation in compliance with FDA and cGMP guidelines.
  • Interact with Planning and Procurement departments to resolve vendor receipt issues.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma with 4 years of experience, Associates with 2 years of experience, or Bachelors degree with 1 year of experience.
  • Experience driving a forklift required.
  • Previous experience managing chemicals or materials with expiration dates in FDA/GMP regulated Pharmaceutical or related industry required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Experience procuring using ERP/MRP in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
Other Requirements
  • Experience with cycle counting and physical inventory practices.
  • Successful completion of GMP, radiation, occupational, and safety training programs.
  • Meet physical and OSHA requirements for job position.
  • Flexibility to handle changing priorities and sound technical skills.
  • Proven organizational skills and initiative.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain a DOT medical card.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 1 year of experience driving a 26' Box truck or equivalent delivery vehicle.
