Job Description:

GENERAL DESCRIPTIONReceive, store and issue material from warehouse storage locations.DUTIESUpdate and maintain inventory in CostPoint, ADIS, and or material management database.Prepare, verify and organize material receipt documentation for Quality Assurance inspection. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in a specified warehouse location.Communicate schedules and deadlines to internal departments and external suppliers as needed.Package and prepare materials for shipment and prepare appropriate shipping documentation.Schedule shipments for pickup utilizing appropriate shipping company computer interface.Assemble and prepare production kits utilizing engineering documentation as directed.Other Duties as AssignedEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSHigh school diploma or equivalentMinimum of one (1) year of relevant experience requiredMust be able to read and understand engineering documents such as CAD drawings and Bills of Material.Must be able to utilize material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.Requires time management, organization, the ability to deal with complex tasks.Requires a basic understanding Process ImprovementRequires the understanding of material inventory control.Requires basic computer skills and be knowledgeable in Microsoft Office products.We maintain a drug-free workplace and perform post offer, pre-employment substance abuse testing.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to handle/feel objects and tools (such as tape dispensers, stapler, computer keyboard, writing tools, peel off labels etc.).Must use safe lifting practices (Female: Not to exceed 42 lbs. for single lift; Male: Not to exceed 88 lbs. for single lift).Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows / knees, and reach above / below shoulders.
