OverviewThe purpose of the Material Handler position is to move goods from point to point within the warehouse or distribution center to supply production areas with product or remove finished goods from work areas to maintain continual operation and productivity standards for the facility.Responsibilities* Performs tasks associated with moving goods from point to point* Supply production areas with product or remove finished goods to a warehouse storage area* Monitors product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate issues.* Sort and process materials as designated* Pack and fill boxes or pallets in an organized manner according to weight restrictions* Record, document, and file materials as directed to maintain organization and inventory accuracy* Assemble orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or relocate orders to a holding area or shipping department* Maintain baseline productivity goals daily* Provide timely feedback to management on fulfillment issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety issues.* Operating an RF device* On time Shipping and Receiving* Assist with Inventory Control team as needed* Quality Compliance* 5S - Standards and Housekeeping* Cross-training on other warehouse job functions as neededQualifications* Ability to perform work in a highly organized and color-coded environment* Ability to communicate effectively with associates at all levels of the organization* Ability to work without supervision.* Excellent teamwork skills* Ability to read labels and numbers* Ability to operate in high speed and fast-paced environment* Ability to follow instructions as directed by the supervisor* High School Diploma or equivalent* Prior warehouse experience, preferred* Leadership experience, a plus* WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) or RF Unit system experience, a plusCompetitive Compensation -401(k) match, Serious Health Condition PayFull Health Benefits PackageMedical, Dental, Vision, Telemedicine, Short & Long Term Disability, Health Savings Account, Life InsurancePaid Time Off & HolidaysCultural PerksCasual Dress, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Discount Program, Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account, Adoption Assistance and Employee Assistance ProgramCovenant Logistics is an Equal Opportunity EmployerM/F/Disability/VeteranVEVRAA Federal Contractor
