General Summary

The Materials Handler will be responsible for ensuring that all materials received in and out of RE warehouses related to RE manufacturing, OSAT projects, customer-owned inventory, returned materials, and inter-department material transfers are executed flawlessly with a keen focus on teamwork, ensuring optimal customer satisfaction and enhancing relationships with our valued suppliers. This position will manage the inbound and outbound shipments of unique/non-standard products; therefore, this position requires a high level of independent thinking, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Derives information and updates EPICOR and Camstar P.O. receipts, ensuring 100% accuracy for all manufacturing parts and components received
  • Processes efficiently inter-building receipts and deliveries to support outbound customer orders, coordinating with the Quality team to ensure minimal processing time between inbound receipt and outbound shipment – expediting orders to match customer expectations.
  • Manages the accurate and efficient transfer of materials and products throughout the Newburyport and Portsmouth campuses
  • Works collaboratively with the Manufacturing team to ensure all product movements between manufacturing facilities and warehouses are processed flawlessly
  • Manages the outbound processes related to shipments of kits and assemblies to subcontractors, complying with subcontractor-specialized terms
  • Processes all test service materials
  • Receiving in from subcontractor
  • Shipping out to designated addresses
  • Receives RMAs and dispatches materials complying with quality specifications and standards.
  • Participates in continuous process improvement events and activities.

The Material Inspector is the “go-to person” for non-standard receipts and shipments, overseeing the complex logistical handling of manufacturing orders and specialized customer orders.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years experience within a similar role in a dynamic, fast-paced semiconductor environment.
  • Demonstrates the aptitude and acumen of a high-performing contributor with visible/measurable results from previous efforts.
  • Microsoft Office skills: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude with an ability to absorb & learn quickly
  • Passionate about progress and willing to go the extra mile
  • A strong team player, demonstrating commitment, integrity, transparency, taking responsibility, and building trust.
  • Ability to work through a problem and maintain focus with little or no supervision
  • Ability to work to the highest accuracy in demanding situations under time constraints using a nimble, creative, and proactive approach
  • Flexibility and multi-tasking, ability to undertake several tasks at once and manage them efficiently.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Prior forklift experience preferred
