If you are a Material Handler looking for an opportunity to grow and develop professionally, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you within our Appleton Group! Based in Rainsville, AL, you will supply manufacturing lines with raw materials and move unfinished goods through the manufacturing process, operating a forklift.Typical working schedule is Monday - Friday 40 to 50 hours per week, with occasional half day on Saturday's.In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will:* Adhere to safety policies and procedures to include appropriate use of required PPE.* Operate a stand-up and LP forklift safely.* Supply raw materials where needed in the production process.* Maintain kit carts where applicable.* Facilitate movement of product through the production process.* Adhere to receiving procedures.* Demonstrate knowledge of parts and home locations.* Handle and consolidate inventory in the stockroom and other areas.* Maintain appropriate varnish levels.* Safely operate various industrial ovens.* Participate in physical inventory activities.* Use lift assistance to handle products weighing more than 50 pounds.* Meet established efficiency and productivity standards.* Maintain 6S and Lean Manufacturing standards.* Demonstrate flexibility with additional or updated duties as business demands change.Who You Are:You are motivated and can prioritize and complete work. You have great attention to detail and work well in team environments.
