The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day activities and provide outstanding customer service to our clients. If you have the knowledge and expertise in the distribution, shipping, and logistics industry, we invite you to apply today.ResponsibilitiesVerifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of inbound & outbound shipments.Hand picking orders utilizing RF Scanner and picked tickets.Conducting daily equipment checklist requirements and maintaining cleanliness of equipment.Loading and unloading incoming and outgoing materials and products.Moving materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, and storage areas.Identifying and labeling materials, and recording their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory.Preparing, properly packaging, and labeling shipments.Operating forklifts and other equipment to move freight.Performing cycle counts.Complying with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.Experience/ Skills RequirementsWarehouse and logistics experience (1 - 2 years).Certification in forklift operation and other warehouse equipment used to move freight.Knowledge of operating warehouse equipment.Data entry and basic math skills.Ability to perform physical labor and lift objects weighing between 20-70 pounds.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and comprehend Safety Manual & Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Written and verbal communication skills.Ability to operate computers and relevant warehouse management software, e.g., RF handheld scanners.Knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.Ability to work independently and with various teams.Willingness to work overtime and weekends when needed.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma/GED required.Why Join Store Opening SolutionsLooking for a career and not just another job?
