Prepare items for shipment. Duties include assembling, addressing, stamping, and shipping merchandise or material; receiving, unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise or material; and arranging for the transportation of products.Essential Job Functions:Examine shipment contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy.Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies to maintain inventory of stock.Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials.Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping, using hand tools, power tools, or postage meter.Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.Use of bar code technology, systems, and hardware.Prepares and loads shipments of hazardous waste and manages hazardous waste in areas where they are accumulated.Qualifications & Experience:HS Diploma.Mechanical aptitude.Technology and tools.SAP, forklift experience required, Microsoft.The expected salary range for this role is $39,200 - $58,000; specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job-related, non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. This role is also eligible to earn a short-term incentive bonus and the following benefits: 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, paid time off, paid holidays and paid sick leave.
