The base hourly rate for this position is $18.02 Position Overview The main purpose of the Material Handler II role is to physically prepare customer orders and control inventories in the Shipping Department. It includes loading and unloading different transport items, recording inventory statuses, and making sure deliveries properly match purchase orders. The Material Handler II should support and fill in for Warehouse Clerk in their absence and help other departments when required. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Loads and unloads material within a warehouse or storage facility in Jacketing and Elbows utilizing hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the storage facility.
  • Prepare customer orders in the system (e.g., SAP, FEDEX) and physically.
  • Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process
  • Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
  • Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
  • Responsible for inventory (receiving and shipping).
  • Support and fill in for Warehouse Clerk in their absence.
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays, and/or overtime.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience and Skills
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • Computer literacy (including good command of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • ERP knowledge preferred
  • +2-years Warehouse or manufacturing experience
  • Must drive Forklift
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.
  • Experience with shipping FedEx a plus
  • Ability to operate hand tools, forklift, and other lifting and securing devices.
  • Keep attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operations issues.
