Job Description:

DESCRIPTION

Performs daily warehouse functions, maintaining a high volume of pick, pack, transfer and delivery of work tickets to manufacturing while maintaining accurate inventory. Assist shipping department with picking and packing of sales orders and other duties as needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Pick, pack, transfer and deliver work tickets
  • Perform computer functions necessary to transfer material between Warehouse and Manufacturing floor which include the following areas
    • Rifle Production
    • Custom Shop
    • Ammo Production
    • Stock Manufacturing
    • Stock Finishing
    • Machining
  • Keep manufacturing departments stocked with needed parts and materials
  • Maintain accurate Raw Goods Inventory as well as accurate Finished Goods inventory
  • Operate lift trucks or hand trucks to convey, move or hoist materials to proper areas
  • Perform daily cycle counts
  • Wrap and strap pallets
  • Load and unload trucks
  • Build boxes
  • Operate forklift and very narrow aisle forklift.
  • Operate Kardex (inventory) machine
  • Keep guns rotated and merchandise stocked
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
  • Follow prescribed safety regulations

ADDITIONAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare inventory for bank audits and ATF
  • Perform annual inventory
  • Finish and prep unfinished guns
  • Assemble components
  • Perform general maintenance
  • Assist Receiving as needed
  • Count received materials

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school degree; or six months to one-year warehouse related experience and/or training in shipping/receiving; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Ability to read and interpret documents including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and barcode labels
