JOB REQUIREMENTS: Material Handler II / Machine Operator 3rd Shift - 51378 DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: johnsonville, LLC Material Handler II / Machine Operator 3rd Shift Pay Range: \$26.00/hr - \$27.20/hr + \$2.00 Shift Premium Hours: 9:00pm - 5:30am, Monday-Friday (Overtime as production demands) Responsibilities: * Develop a strong set of world class warehousing skills * Use your skills and talents to help the shipping department strive for and meet customers\' needs and expectations * Be proactive and participate in daily meetings and project teams * Share and discuss ideas and solutions with your teammates and coach * Set goals and objectives; both personal and as a team member to acquire \ superlative\ performance in order to support The Johnsonville Way * Work with your coach to grow not only yourself but your team * Commit to unending personal and professional growth Material Handler Essential Functions/Duties: * Safely operate stand-up forklifts, both counterbalanced and reach trucks * Safely operate pallet inverters and pallet wrappers * Safely operate scissor lifts * Distinguish non-acceptable and acceptable quality products * Use SAP and handheld RF scanners to accurately transfer materials * Pick and assemble outbound customer orders * Receive inbound finished goods and supplies * Identify proper storage and shipment temperatures for different products and supplies * Move product and other materials into and out of pallet racking * Build, prepare, and wrap pallets for shipment or storage * Load and unload semi-trucks and trailers * Maintain a clean and organized workspace Intec Operator Essential Functions/Duties: * Distinguish non-acceptable and acceptable quality products * Monitor and ensure proper operation of all VRT freezer components including conveyor and roller systems, product elevators and pushers, RF scanners, and refrigeration systems * Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on VRT freezer components * Work with and assist maintenance Members with major mechanical issues * Read and understand daily production and deployment schedules * Use SAP and Intec software to monitor incoming and outgoing product inventory * Work with material handlers, other machine operators, and production Members to ensure smooth and continuous operation and inventory accuracy * Assist with basic material handler duties during downtime * Maintain a clean and organized workspace Equal Opportunity Employer-minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Experience: * Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment required * Experience operating forklifts required * Machine operator experience required * Experience with working at height preferred * Experience with fall protection equipment and practices preferred Skills and Competencies: * Ability to take ownership of own and other Members\' safety * Must be willing to work in temperatures as low as -40F * Must be willing to climb vertical ladders and work at heights up to 75 feet above the ground * Must be able to frequently lift up to 40lbs * Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally Other: * Ability to pass a pre-employment, post offer drug screen, physical and background check ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: Apply Online: Other: Applicants ONLY to apply via URL link provided!
