Job Description Position Summary: Provide the highest level of service and customer satisfaction by ensuring all inbound and outbound shipments are accurate, free of damage and processed in a timely manner.
Essential Functions of this Role: The essential duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Operate and instruct others in the operation of material moving equipment, stand up forklift, sit down forklift, order picker and related vehicles inside the warehouse
- Determine sequence for loading and unloading shipments for maximum space utilization, safety and damage protection
- Inspect and perform minor maintenance on equipment daily.
- Perform computer lookup/inquiries to determine product location and/or description
- Responsible for receiving, stocking of all inbound shipments; unload and load materials onto or from shipping containers, pallets, racks and shelves
- Maintain inventory controls by collecting stock location orders, printing requests, recording amounts of items received, and counting of physical inventory
- Identify obvious damage to equipment and materials through visual inspection
- Stock, arrange, and rotate warehouse items in accordance with standard operating procedures and/or guidance from supervisor
- Stage material in proper location for shipment
- Attention to detail and ability to follow directions to meet deadlines
- Follows all safety and security procedures
- Meet or exceed accuracy and productivity expectations
- Assist in other departments of the warehouse as necessary
- Coach and mentor new or temporary warehouse workers in job functions
- Examine shipping and receiving load content against records to ensure accuracy.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Work Environment: - Must be able to work in a warehouse environment with variable noise levels, lighting conditions, and temperature variations
- Due to forklifts and other equipment traveling through the warehouse the environment can be noisy, dusty, may emit gas fumes and create excessive vibrations
Physical Demands: - Must be able to move around in a large, fast-paced warehouse for 8 or more hours
- Requires the ability to lift, carry, push or pull up to 75lbs frequently
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking on concrete surfaces
- Requires bending, squatting, climbing and reaching
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations
- Team lift - carry, push or pull up to 100lbs frequently
Expected Hours of Work: - Must be available during standard operating hours, Monday thru Friday
- Start and end times may vary due to operational need
- Remain flexible with working schedules is required, to include working overtime, evenings, and weekends as there may be an occasional adjustment to meet the business needs
Travel:
Required Education, Experience and Skills: - Must be at least 18 years of age
- 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or education
- Forklift certification or able to successfully certification of forklift operation, training provided on-site
- Must be a quick learner with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, maintain focus and adapt to a variety of challenges
- Positive attitude - work as part of a team and/or independently
- Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relations with people in different functions
- Active listening skills
- Basic math, reading and voice comprehension is a must
- Ability to read packs, order labels, other information and match to visible items and other data
- Maintain regular attendance
- Ability and disposition to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
Preferred Education, Experience and Skills: - Reliable transportation
- Previous knowledge of replenishment and RF equipment a plus
- Previous receiving experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of general warehouse layout, item identification, warehouse procedures and storage areas to pull stock and materials

Pay Range: Starting Hourly Rate: $19.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
