This position performs clerical and physical tasks in connection with receiving, stocking, kitting, packaging, and shipping goods of the establishment in which employed. The Material Handler must be able to follow established guidelines and procedures during the performance of day-to-day, routine tasks and may direct and coordinate the activities of other workers engaged in handling material to be shipped or being received.What You Will DoUnderstand basic Inventory Management and have accountability of all items received.Track and maintain material through various programs such as Excel and other HII programs.Receive deliveries as requiredMaintain signed and completed DD Form 1149 and packing slip folder for GFE (Government Furnished Equipment).Prepare kitting packages for assembly production.Package shipments for delivery per program requirementsAssist in processing/monitoring shipping requests and work with various shipping companies to schedule and deliver shipments per program requirements.Provide daily reports of material received to appropriate parties.Ability to communicate effectively with Program Managers, Production Managers, Production Lead and co-workers is important.What We Are Looking For: Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent plus 3 years of any combination of relevant work experience.
