****Job Description****

Danfoss has a current opening for a **3rd shift Material Handler** position. The hours for this position are 10:00pm-6:00am Monday-Friday.

The Material Handler will be responsible for pulling stock, order staging, and production and warehouse material movement.

The Material Handler communicates directly with production assembly operators to ensure sufficient and correct supplier parts are present for each production order.

****Job Responsibilities****

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

* Receive incoming parts from vendor or warehouse; Identify parts and place into proper bin locations.

* Provide line support for the assembly cell and is the next level of escalation after the cell expert for manufacturing issues related to safety and process quality

* Perform daily replenishment route checks of floor stock items, prioritizing assembly cells when signaled by light.

* Report existing or pending part shortages to Department Facilitator and Supply Chain Specialist

* Complete timely and accurate updating of SAP system material information

* Perform accurate electronic scale and hand counts

****Background & Skills****

The ideal candidate possesses these skills:

* Good verbal and written communication skills

* Basic math skills

* Proficiency with computer inquiries and transactions

* Some heavy lifting required (up to 50 lbs.)

* Must be able to work well as a team member

* Forklift experience
