PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Material Handler to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Aiken, SC. This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates. Job Description: An Aerospace leader is seeking Material Handlers to safely and accurately pick parts, store, package, ship, and support manufacturing with material flow. Candidate must be able to operate a forklift and perform job in a safe and timely manner. Candidates must be able to be on their feet for an prolonged period of time, be able to work inside and outside, and occasionally lift objects manually. Candidates with manufacturing experience and warehouse experience are preferred. Must have at least 3 years of forklift operation experience. Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- US Citizenship
- Proficient Forklift Operator
- Experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must be able to work with a team.
- Availability to work Overtime.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to physically lift objects up to 30 pounds.
- Possess a strong work ethic
- Possess basic math skills
- Experience in warehousing or manufacturing environments
- Experience operating different types and sizes of forklifts
- Experience transporting heavy/irregular loads
- Inventory Control Experience

- Ability to work with a team and sometimes alone
- Critical thinking skills and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Oracle software system
- Experience with hand held scanners
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Cycle Counting experience
