Location: Morristown,TN, USA
Stage and move raw materials and finished goods to and from loading docks, storage and warehouse areas. Load and unload shipments according to documentation and work procedures. Participate in inventory processes as required.
**Knowledge & Skills Preferred:**
* High School Diploma or General Education Degree
* Data entry and keyboarding skills
* Ability to read work instructions in English
* 1-3 years experience in fast-paced warehouse setting
* Commitment to safety and quality
* Proven track record of excellent attendance
* Proficient with weights and measures
* Forklift Certification
**Duties & Responsibilities:**
* Safety work in accordance with safety rules and actively support safety team
* Attendance be present for scheduled hours
* Housekeeping maintain a clean work area free of debris; utilize tool cart
* Quality Quality Management System Procedures adherence
* Receive incoming materials; verify against PO for proper shipment, shortages, damages or defects
* Pick, pack, and load customer orders; verify against shipping or customer order requirements
* Complete paperwork accurately and keep organized for processing
* Transport materials to appropriate locations
* Warehouse safety/damage inspections (dock doors, hilos, skids, etc.)
* Use RFID to scan and track movement of goods in warehouse
* Inventory responsibility participate in physical counts
* Daily maintenance and inspection of forklift
* Break relief for other material handlers
* Other duties as assigned by supervisor
**Job Location / Working Conditions / Equipment:**
Warehouse and production setting operating standard manual and powered equipment used in material handling; must be physically able to frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, lift up to 40 pounds, climb on and off forklift, and stand for scheduled shift. 80% of time on forklift 20% on floor.
