This position is responsible for working with co-workers to meet and exceed company goals and for communicating effectively to ensure that trucks are shipped complete and on time with the highest compliance to safety and quality standards and internal and external customer excellence.

**Essential duties and responsibilities:**

* Organize parts

* Feed or take parts into or from a production process

* Stack material neatly

* Check for quality accuracy based on the quality guidelines

* Accurately identify parts

* Willing to be trained to use power industrial equipment, safely, and obtain the required licensure, for performing daily tasks

* Read labels and customer orders

* Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages

* Read and understand visual and written assembly instructions on a computer screen to retrieve parts from a pick list

* Operate scanners, computers, tablets, and work with various other equipment as required

* Ensure all products are scanned properly for loading into the truck

* Properly document department data/complete required paperwork

* Assist with the upkeep of warehouse inventory and with the loading and unloading of trucks

* Maintain an accurate inventory

* Successfully load trucks by hand in an organized and safe manner

* Notify the Supervisor of any mechanical or defective material issues

* Receive cross-training in multiple functions within and between various departments

* Maintain a safe work environment by following safety rules and participating in reporting of unsafe behaviors, conditions, damage, or instances as well as improvement opportunities

* Maintain a clean environment by having clean docks and warehouse aisles, stack material neatly and safely

* Responsible for maintaining safe condition of shipping carts and racking as required and reporting any unsafe conditions or damage to products or facilities

* Follow and comply with all Standard Operating Procedures and Marvin Values, policies, and procedures

* Effectively work with others

* Additional duties as assigned

Education, skills, training, and experience:

* High School diploma or GED required

* Ability read, write, and speak English proficiently

* Ability to obtain/maintain forklift certification required through Marvin on-the-job training and retain the proper industrial vehicle licenses required for this role

* Previous forklift/industrial vehicle operation experience desired

* Ability to work with a diverse workforce

* Ability to work independently and accurately

* Basic computer skills are required

* Proven history of on-time attendance and teamwork

Physical Demands:

* Standing and/or walking for 8 10 hours a day

* Performing repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions

* Ability to lift/carry or push/pull up to 50 lbs. individually and, with assistance, in teams of two, up to 250 lbs., and occasionally higher, working with assistance in teams

* Bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, and turning

* Climbing stairs and/or ladders and working in elevated areas
