DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Material HandlerLoad and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.Verify accuracy of deliveries and outgoing loads.Move materials between loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and service areas.Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse to maintain inventory.Prepare products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them.Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.Maintain accuracy within all product inventories under the direct responsibility of the department.Dock WorkerUsing safe lifting techniques.Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment in the loading and unloading of freight.Load product onto designated trailers per schedules.Maintain accuracy of bills of loading for all loaded product.Follow SOP for the receiving, staging, loading and documentation for all load schedules.Sort, label, and organize freight.Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment used.REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to follow instructions and work independently with little guidance.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Ability to organize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.Basic to moderate computer skills.Adapt and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work overtime and have flexibility to accommodate the needs of the position.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.Certification to operate lift truck preferred.Experience working in a warehouse setting or in logistics preferred.EMPLOYEE BENEFITS INCLUDE: Full benefits package, including Medical, Dental and Vision insurance.Ability to have a flexible work schedule.Possible remote work options.Casual office dress code.Generous Paid Time Off.Paid Holidays.401(k) retirement plan and Employer Match.Wellness Program that offers the opportunity to earn a medical insurance discount.Company Paid Short- Term and Long-Term Disability. The worker is subject to extreme heat: Temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions such as wind and humidity.The worker is subject to extreme cold: Temperatures below 32 degrees for periods of more than one hour. Consideration should be given to the effect of other environmental conditions such as wind and humidity.The worker is occasionally required to function in narrow aisles or passageways.
