Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionAs a Material Handler, you will operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials to and from production lines. Responsibilities include gathering inventory, staging, stacking, wrapping pallets, and getting products ready for shipment. You will also load and unload trucks. The workforce is smaller, with 10-15 employees on 1st shift and about half that on 2nd. The Chicago Heights facility is larger, housing a few hundred employees across shifts, and is also temperature-controlled. It is not as new or clean as Alsip but remains organized. The chemicals at both sites are not harmful, and safety is a massive focus.
