Job Opportunity at Nesco ResourceNesco Resource is hiring for a position in a cold storage facility. We are looking for dedicated individuals with at least 6 months of previous forklift experience. All shifts are available!
Schedule Breakdown- Day 1: Sunday-Tuesday 6am-6pm & Wednesday 6am-noon
- Day 2: Wednesday noon-6pm, Thursday-Saturday 6am-6pm
- Night 1: Sunday-Tuesday 6pm-6am & Wednesday 6pm-midnight
- Night 2: Wednesday midnight-6pm, Thursday-Saturday 6pm-6am
Base Pay Rates- Day 1 & 2: $19/hr
- Night 1: $21/hr
- Night 2: $22/hr
Perfect Attendance BonusAll employees are eligible to receive an additional $3/hr (straight-time) and $4.50/hr (overtime) with perfect attendance. Perfect attendance means no missed shifts and a full 40 hours on the clock.
Requirements- Must pass a 10-panel drug screen
- Steel toed shoes are required; company provides all other PPE
- HS Diploma or GED is required
- Longevity in work history
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn to operate forklift and reach truck (Training will be provided)
Job Responsibilities- Receive, store, and distribute products in refrigerated and/or frozen rooms within the warehouse
- Read shipping and/or picking orders to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Operate electric-powered forklifts or electric-powered hand-trucks to transport loaded pallets to designated warehouse areas and/or storage racks
- Load and/or unload product items and other materials onto and off pallets, skids, or lifting devices
- Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, or product code
- Mark materials with identifying information
- Lift, count, sort, and place product items on pallets according to order fill instructions or special requirements
- Prepare and record order fill tickets and truck logs (load sheets) in accordance with company standards
- Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed
- Weigh or count items for distribution within the plant to ensure conformance to company standards
