Retrieval, verification, transfer and storage of all materials externally supplied as well as internally manufactured products.Key responsibilities include:The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list and that additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time; or the scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Observe all safety, sanitation, GMP and HACCP requirementsOperate forklift vehicles in a safe mannerPerform material handling as required throughout the production and warehouse areasPerform visual inspection of all inbound/outbound materials prior to acceptance or loading to ensure conformance as well as inspection of staged loads, SU numbers and customer specificationsPerform sample checks on inbound materials as requiredAssign and store all inbound materialsProvide raw materials and packaging to internal customersRestock unused materials as neededComplete daily cycle counts accurately per established auditing guidelinesIdentify and report all motorized equipment failure prior to useSupport special project needs as is necessaryAbout youHigh school diploma or GEDMechanical ability/aptitude, a plusGood communication skills both verbally and writtenMinimum of two (2) years experience in a warehouse environment including familiarity material handling equipment, warehouse layout, storage and retrieval in a food-manufacturing environment.Valid motor vehicle license, requiredSAP and WMS knowledge preferred as well as math skills.Excellent safety recordAbility to stand on concrete floor for long periods of timeBend, squat, stretch, reach; frequentlyAbility to climb stairs, oftenMust be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, oftenComfortable working at heightsMust be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facilityNoise level can exceed .85 decibelsWhat you can expect from Barry Callebaut:Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package12 paid holidays, generous PTO, plus your birthday offEnvironment that welcomes workplace flexibilityAn atmosphere where diversity is embraced, and inclusivity is second nature.
