Our manufacturing facility in Downers Grove is seeking a **Material Handler.** The hours for this position are 8:30am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Overtime may be required as needed.
* Assemble and transfer materials, supplies and products to work stations in the manufacturing facility.
* Follow established safety procedures to safely transfer materials to work stations.
* Ensure each work station has sufficient amount of raw materials to avoid work stoppage.
* Perform other related duties as assigned.
* High School diploma or equivalent.
* Previous experience working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment in material handling.
* Forklift experience is required - certification is also strongly preferred.
* Must have basic computer skills
* Willingness to be cross-trained to backup the Shipping & Receiving Coordinator
* Understanding and willingness to follow specific safety guidelines.
* Willingness to work overtime as needed.
* Reliable transportation to and from work.
* Positive attitude and team player.
* Ability to pass background screening and drug test.
