Title: Material Handler Location: Coralville, IA 52241 Duration: 0-12+ Months (Temp to engage) Hours: 36 Hour/Week *As a Material Handler, you'll ship, receive, package, count, and route material, complete associated paperwork, and/or operate machinery such as forklift, pallet jack, etc. weekend schedule Friday-Sunday 9:00 pm-9:00 am* Primary Responsibilities:
- Coordinate shipping and receiving and material handling transactions with appropriate individuals/departments.
- Responsible for assigned picking inventorying, and packaging. Route packaging materials to proper departments.
- Instruct and/or assist in preparing merchandise for shipment.
- Maintain necessary records and files of transactions, verifying the accuracy of shipments against bills of lading, invoices or other records on Oracle or other systems.
- Set up locations in ERP and resolve purchase order receiving discrepancies and receiving discrepancies with planner-buyer.
- Arranges stock to best advantage for efficiency and accessibility. Adheres to all safety rules and may use forklifts and other material moving tools and moving machinery.
- Deliver product from receiving to the appropriate destination.
- Expedite internal material requirements, transferring inventory to multiple locations including MRB.
- Set up material presentations in the cells utilizing DBS tools and Visual Management.
- Performs inventories; physically perform and transact cycle counts of materials.
- Reconcile bad counts with assistance from the Senior Material Handler.
