Job DetailsJob Location Corporate Headquarters - Prairie du Sac, WI Position Type Full Time Education Level High School Travel Percentage None Job Shift M-F; 8 am - 4:30 pm Job Category Manufacturing DescriptionPOSITION OVERVIEW: Handle, transport, and store various materials within Mueller Sports Medicine (MSM)s Distribution Center. Load and unload trucks and containers, record inventory using ERP system and ensure all material movements properly match documentation. POSITION FUNCTIONS*PercentagePosition Functions 40% Material Handling
  • Receive, distribute, and store products as directed in designated, secure locations
  • Pull and prepare raw materials for assembly associates to package
  • Restock shelves
  • Follow FIFO to rotate stock to ensure the proper materials are used first
  • Complete appropriate transactions within SAP System
  • Prepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped including dates of transactions, locations, and other pertinent information
  • Process appropriate paperwork throughout the lifecycle of the product accurately and timely

  • Receive and unload incoming shipments
  • Verify quantity and quality of order contents to the packing slips
30% Shipping
  • Process paperwork for freight companies
  • Accurately document materials shipped to sub-contractors
  • Pack pallet orders using the guidelines in the cGMP for height of product, etc.

QualificationsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school degree or General Education Diploma (GED) or experience enough to perform the essential functions of the job Two years or more previous factory, assembly, shipping/receiving, or other applicable experience Ability to understand and comply with Mueller Safety Systems and current regulatory requirements REQUIRED SKILLS Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies Makes sound decisions based on analysis, discussion, experience and judgment Demonstrated team player Willingness to roll up your sleeves to help find new opportunities and having passion to WIN Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic use of Microsoft products, including Word, Outlook and Excel, and related industry applications Safe operation of a pallet jack Documentable forklift certification or demonstrable proficient experience operating a forklift. Safe operation of various machinery Valid drivers license Responsible to appropriately protect the confidentiality, security, and integrity of the organizations systems and data as well as client data.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to have ordinary ambulatory skills; the ability to stand or sit, walk, bend or stoop, push, pull and manipulate (lift, carry, move) weights of up to 20 pounds regularly, up to 40 pounds frequently, and up to 70 pounds occasionally. Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp, and visual acuity to use a keyboard, operate office equipment and read.
