**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

You will join a team that picks parts for Assemblers building industrial dryers and filters. You will load, unload, package and move materials within or near the plant, yard, or work site by performing the following duties:

* Reading work orders and schedules or following oral instructions to ascertain materials to be moved.

* Loading and unloading materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand or using lifting equipment such as pallet jacks and power hoist. Required to load material onto various machines as needed.

* Conveying materials from designated storage areas on shop floor to work cells per the production schedule.

* Counting, weighing, and recording number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet.

* Attaching identifying tags or labels to materials or marking information on cases, bales, or other containers.

* Stacking or assembling materials into groups for appropriate use.

* Cleaning work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators.

* Operating industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

* Completing computer transactions to relieve inventory and maintain accurate material movements.

* Performing other duties as assigned.

**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**

* At least one year of related warehouse experience.

* Experience with bin stock locations, cycle counting and handheld bar code scanning devices, and/or high-speed/moving object scanning devices (RF handheld, ERP/MRP) is a preferred.

* Experience with or training on forklifts is a plus.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing areas, outdoor areas and/or climate controlled office, where under certain conditions require the use of personal protective equipment such as Safety Glasses with Side Shields and mandatory hearing protection. Respiratory protection is required while handling certain products. Primary environment: Temperature of work area may be affected by outside temperatures natural elements. Industrial lighting provided.
