KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
* Inspect product load for accuracy and safely move it around the plant to ensure timely and complete delivery.
* Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
* Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
* Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
* Report damages and help oversee repairs
* Help move received material to stock area
* Move required material from stockroom to specified area
* Assist in additional job tasks required by manager
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
* Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment.
* Ability to communicate effectively.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Must be fluent in English both oral and written.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* 3 years of experience as forklift operator.
* Valid certification to operate forklifts.
* High school diploma or equivalent required.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
* Lift, push and pull a minimum of 35 pounds
* Ability to bend, stretch and sit or stand during the entire shift.
* Ability to frequently kneel, squat, climb into forklift, bent stoop and twist.
SHIFT:
* First Shift: 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
