Made Possible.Position SummaryPerform all the material handling responsibilities between the Printing and Finishing Departments.Principal Duties and ResponsibilitiesWork with printing and finishing teams to follow their schedules in order to meet all material handling responsibilities.Stage loads from press finish lines.Pallet management to include pallet removal and placement for palletizing.Stretch-wrap loads to prepare for shipment.Stage corrugate at packing end of gluers.Palletize and wrap the roll cores for transportation.Load roll cores on scrap trailer.Dispose of printed waste once the teams have documented the waste.Help teams keep area neat and clean: sweep, re-pile pallets, fix broken pallets, etc.Complete daily forklift maintenance and communicate problems to warehouse crew.Take window's loads over to appropriate finishing lines.Weekend responsibility to remove bales.Notify Warehouse when dumpster is full.Be able to work mill hours.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesCertification to operate a forklift in a safe and proper manner.Ability to work well with little direct supervisionMechanically inclinedHave good organizational skillsAble to train other people how to do your jobBe able to follow proceduresMust be self motivatedEducation and ExperienceHigh School/GED diplomaRead, write, and understand EnglishWorking knowledge of basic mathBasic computer knowledgeWorking ConditionsAbility to climb into/out of forklifts, clamp trucks, etc. as required by job dutiesAbility to lift 60 lbs.Be willing and able to work any shift and overtime when needed.GPI's Benefit ProgramCompetitive Pay401(k) w/employer matchingHealth & Welfare BenefitsMedical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverageShort and Long-Term DisabilityLife InsuranceAccidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) InsuranceFlexible Spending and Health Savings AccountsVarious Voluntary benefitsAdoption Assistance ProgramEmployee Discount ProgramsEmployee Assistance ProgramTuition Assistance ProgramPaid Time Off + 11 paid company holidays each yearApplications accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.Graphic Packaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
