Starting pay: $23.46

Shift: 2nd, .70 shift differential

As aMaterial Handler you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that a quality product is available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Operates the Drexel truck to pick-up and transfer filled containers to storage racks, occasionally consolidating containers on pallets and in the racks.
• Labels all packages and containers, listing material code, batch formula code, clock number, weight and date. Follows all established safety, environmental and PPE requirements.
• Assures material is safely packaged and physically delivered by way of fork truck, lift/elevator or other means, all materials to the designated department. Checks for accuracy and makes proper adjustments for ordered materials.
• Works with the leadership team in developing, reviewing and revising SOP's and the job skills
• Cleans up equipment and work areas, and performs miscellaneous duties related to the above title.
• Follows all established plant safety, environmental, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a consistent basis throughout the day.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to work any shift, and work overtime as needed.
• Must be clean shaven to wear proper PPE.
