JOB SUMMARY: The Material Handler is responsible for moving and recording the movement of material throughout a facility ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (COMPETENCIES):
- Operate material handling equipment as required to receive, store or deliver material
- Receive materials according to established procedures
- Perform incoming inspection of material
- Document movement of materials within ERP system
- Transport materials from storage to designated areas
- Perform cycle counts and physical inventory
- tock supplies
- Provide support to other Shipping and Receiving department functions as directed
- Perform other duties or special projects as assigned
REQUIREMENTS: •
- High School Diploma or GED •
- Computer experience •
- Experience using Microsoft Office products
- Ability to operate material handling equipment including pallet jack and forklift •
- Ability to frequently walk and/or stand •
- Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs •
- Provide own source of transportation for any local/day travel, including travel between Indium Corporation facilities
