Job Details

Under general supervision, the Material Handler will work in one or more various warehouse /production areas as assigned to include inbound, outbound, picking, staging, packing, sorting, material replenishment and/or inventory control. Time spent in each area may vary based on business requirements however it is expected this position will routinely distribute label/ pack materials to operations to ensure they are consistently and adequately supplied. The Material Handler will maintain Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and execute all work following all regulatory requirements including, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Supply production lines with label/pack materials.
  • Train and perform inventory scans, moves, relocation transactions as needed.
  • Safely operate manual /power warehouse equipment (i.e. Forklift) as needed.
  • Perform frequent inventory, stock rotation and cycle counting.
  • Restock materials in warehouse locations and maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Coordinate w/ QA to ensure system disposition and physical movement of materials to designated areas are performed in parallel.
  • May perform any other related duties as required.
  • High school diploma or GED plus six months warehouse or equivalent environment experience in warehouse, logistics, distribution, cycle count, forklift training is preferred.
  • Some prior experience with Inventory Control functions is a plus.
  • Some computer skills with inventory management systems /software preferred.
  • Follows written and verbal instructions accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate productive work ethic and meet or exceed deadlines.
  • Interacts equally well with all associates utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
  • Must pay attention to details and be able handle multiple priorities.
  • Previous experience in GMP manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Must comply with all company safety regulations and procedures
