Quanex is looking for a Water Spider (Material Handler) team member to join us in Chehalis, WA. The Material Group is responsible for picking orders and stocking materials. This positions schedule will be from 5:30am - 2:30 pm with some OT requiredWe Offer You! - Follows all safety procedures, rules, and guidelines; and notifies the supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
- Visually inspect for defects or errors throughout process.
- Insure standard work adherence.
- Follows all standard operating procedures and notifies the supervisor of potential procedural improvements.
- Meet or exceed the production standards for the position.
- Perform related work as required.
- Help in other areas with production, inspection, repair or other duties as assigned.
- Cooperates with and supports co-workers and gets involved as a team player.
What You Bring:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Manual/finger dexterity skills
- Ability to use hand tools including tape measure
- Ability to follow both written and verbal directions.
- Some computer skills
- 1 year Lift truck driving experience
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
