At Avail, we're small enough for your ideas to make a big impact, and large enough to offer you opportunities to grow professionally at any stage of your career.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMoves freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, or containers, by hand or using trucks, tractors, or other equipment.Reads work orders and determines work assignments and material or equipment needs.Maintains equipment storage areas, monitors inventory levels, and ensures that inventory is protected.Creates work instructions and procedures based on best practices and coordinates training activities for junior material handlers.Operates office machines, such as photocopies and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.Maintains and updates inventory, database systems, either manually or using a computer.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCEHS diploma or GED required.2 to 4 years of experience required.Previous forklift operating experience and/or stockroom experience preferred.
