About The Role Material Handlers perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the fulfillment of production needs. In this critical and hands-on role, you will coordinate kits, pick lists, requisitions, materials expedites and replenishment to meet material requirements, directed to the appropriate demand source, like sales orders, transfer orders and work orders for Spellman Matamoros operations, Sister sites and Direct Customers.

What You Will Do - Plan and prepare material replenishment
- Assist with urgent material requisitions
- Pull inventory to satisfy organizational needs
- Stock incoming material from internal or external suppliers
- Perform all required computer transactions
- Package out going products according to scheduled due dates, based on packaging specifications and procedures
- Package consolidation shipments & imports to Spellman facilities
- Load and unload packages on trucks
- Pack and label boxes as part of shipment preparation
What You Need - Prior experience in a material handling position
- Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting. Preference for certification
- Proficiency with shipping carrier systems (UPS, FedEx, local carriers)
- Knowledge of International Shipping requirements (customs, duties, Bill of Goods, etc.)
Spellman takes safety seriously. All new hires are required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID at start, or must request and be granted a religious or medical exemption. In addition, the following Personal Protective Equipment is required depending on work environment:

This position requires daily on-site presence at Spellman High Voltage in Hauppauge, NY.
Shifts: Mon - Friday: 7:00am - 4:15pm Willingness to work overtime (after hours and weekends) as needed. Our good faith estimate of the wage range for this role is $18 - $21. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package.
