The Lift Truck Operator is responsible for operating a lift truck to move finished product, material and supplies. The operator is accountable for the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: - Must be able to safely and efficiently operate the lift truck / clamp truck - Observes necessary safety precautions - Identify and report the following to warehouse management: Equipment problems; quality problems; unsafe practices and conditions. - Operates a gas, electric lift truck and clamp lift in and between departments, building and grounds. - Moves product through the facility - Fill out necessary paperwork for reporting safety, quality, production, damages and loading/unloading verification. - Collects and delivers a variety of materials, adhering to good safety practices in carrying out duties - Delivers materials to work areas as directed, stacks materials in storage areas and loads shipments in trailers. - Prepares and ...Material Handler, Lift Operator, Manufacturing, Food, Materials
