As a Material Handler, you will manage the warehouse's material movement, shipping, and receiving processes, ensuring accurate documentation, efficient flow of goods, equipment maintenance, and compliance with safety and company standards.What We Offer* Pay of $19.25 - $25.71 based on experience* First Shift | 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM* Sign-on bonus* 401k* Health benefits, including telehealth medical services* Opportunity for advancement* Referral programWhat We're Looking For* High School Diploma or GED, with at least 2 years of experience in material handling or warehousing* Foundational understanding of warehouse operations, manufacturing processes, material flow strategies, and quality control* Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, with the ability to assess compliance with regulations and standards* Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities* Basic proficiency in reading, writing, and math* General PC knowledge, with the ability to operate computer terminals and RF scanners efficiently* Ability to obtain required power vehicle licenses (Hi-Lo, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Scissor Lift) as needed* Experience with SAP software, including basic functionality - preferred* Knowledge of MTU America products, policies, and procedures - preferred* Flexibility to work any shift and accommodate overtime when required - preferredWhat You'll Do as a Material Handler* Execute SAP transactions in alignment with functional area guidelines and work instructions* Operate RF scanning equipment to facilitate material movement within the warehouse, perform cycle counts, and ship engines as needed* Prepare, package, and supply materials to MTU America Operations in accordance with the company's Material Flow Strategy* Transfer materials between storage locations and MTU America Operations, ensuring efficient material flow* Read and interpret work instructions, operational documents, and reports accurately* Inspect and maintain equipment logs as required to ensure proper functioning* Oversee all aspects of shipping and receiving materials and finished goods, including production and non-production materials and completed engines* Position and align components within the warehouse or operations areas according to directives* Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, following safety regulations to support a safe working environment* Keep management informed of progress, developments, and potential issues* Identify opportunities to reduce non-value-added tasks and improve efficiency* Support special projects and maintain flexibility to assist in materials handling or other production-related areas as needed* Uphold and promote compliance within the area of responsibility, adhering to the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct
