DescriptionJob Title: Material Handler IJob Summary:The Material Handler plays a crucial role at Plant Therapy by assisting the operations departments in fulfilling orders efficiently and on time. This position requires collaboration with team leads and managers while ensuring a smooth workflow throughout the production process.Essential Functions:Collaborate closely with the team leads and Managers to support operations goals.Plan, pull, transfer, and stage components for individual work orders.Maintain a thorough understanding of the existing manufacturing workflow.Develop proficiency in our ERP and WMS systems to enhance production functions and workflow.Participate in regularly scheduled cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.Proactively monitor line activity and stage new work orders as required.Self-motivated and able to work independently with a sense of urgency.Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task.Receive and process all incoming purchase orders (POs) in a timely manner.Distribute materials and supplies according to departmental needs.Manage the warehouse request sheet to efficiently fulfill requests from various departments.Operate forklifts safely and effectively to support warehouse activities.Assist with customer returns, particularly during peak periods and in the absence of the Manager.Collaborate with other departments and provide assistance as needed to maintain workflow and productivity.Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. consistently and stock items overhead.Capability to climb stairs while carrying boxes weighing up to 30-40 lbs.Frequent bending, kneeling, and squatting as needed.Other Duties:Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and may be subject to change.
