Job Title: Material HandlerResponsibilities:
- Quality Control: Inspect incoming deliveries to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload packages.
- Inventory Management: Organize stock efficiently, utilizing equipment like forklifts, pallets, or cranes.
- Order Fulfillment: Receive and verify incoming pick tickets, pull material for orders, wrap orders, and prepare them for delivery.
- Inventory Monitoring: Keep an eye on inventory levels and recommend new orders when necessary.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of orders, materials, and stock movements.
Requirements and Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar role.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is advantageous.
- Equipment Operation: Competence in using warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Communication: Strong communication skills.
- Detail-Oriented: Dexterity and keen attention to detail.
- Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage inventory effectively.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to meet the physical demands of the job.
- Forklift License: Licensed to operate forklifts.
- Flexibility: Availability for occasional overtime work.
- Education: High school diploma.
