Forward is a single resource for your shipping needs.Position: Material HandlerCore Responsibilities & Duties:* Process all aspects of materials using warehouse inventory software* Label and ship orders according to established procedures for each customer* Accurately pick and weigh all shipments* Inspect freight and follow appropriate reporting procedures* Assist with inventory and cycle counts* Rotate and re-stock shelves according to inventory procedures* Verify all inbound and outbound materials* Provide prompt and accurate customer service* Arrange and maintain filing and recording systems* Document monthly activities for period end reporting* Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts* Shrink wrap freight pallets* Maintain a clean and save working environment* Other duties as assignedJob Requirements & Qualifications:* High school diploma or GED equivalent* Minimum of 2 years' experience of general warehouse knowledge* Excellent customer service skills* Excellent verbal and written communication* Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.* Warehouse Oracle Database Experience is a plus* Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds* Forklift Certification preferred* Ability to work under minimal supervision* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managersWhat We Offer:* Competitive base salary* Paid time off within the first year of employment, sick time and holidays* Company provided life insurance* Health, vision, and dental insurance options* Commuter benefit plan* Optional supplemental life insurance* 401(k)* Wellness program* A great place to work with a terrific culture#IND
