Job Title: Material HandlerJob DescriptionWe are currently seeking Warehouse Workers to ensure all non-hazardous waste is unloaded from vehicles/trucks, the vehicles are decontaminated, and materials are properly staged for scanning and processing. Individuals will be on their feet for an extended period. The individual will perform the following duties in a safe and productive manner.ResponsibilitiesUnload non-hazardous waste from incoming vehicles/trucks.Load sorted material from bins/pallets/boxes into vehicle/truck.Sort non-hazardous material to designated sections.Break down boxes the materials get delivered in.Practice and maintain housekeeping issues, such as cleaning up spills, ensuring the floor is dry, and removing debris immediately.Ensure boxes are sealed properly and pallets of boxes are secure using shrink wrap before transporting out of the facility.Assist in other areas of the plant operation as directed. All technicians will be cross-trained in all departments.Cross-train in three different areas: D-Pak, Retail, and DC (Distribution Center).Essential SkillsBasic math skillsWilling and able to lift 50+ lbs independentlyHigh School Diploma or GEDAdditional Skills & QualificationsPrevious RCRA (Proper Disposal of Waste Materials) experiencePrevious warehouse experienceForklift experienceShift & Pay1st shift: 7:00AM - 3:30PM$18.50Why Work Here?Full-time employees will receive medical, dental, and vision benefits. There is a lot of activity in the warehouse, so workers need to be safety aware at all times. Forklifts transport material in and out of the facility.
