Inalfa Roof Systems is a world leading supplier for OEM automotive roof systems and still growing strong. Are you ready to grow with us? SUMMARY Responsible for moving materials, parts and modules between different areas within the plant and warehouse. Also will load and unload trucks from suppliers / customers. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Transport appropriate quantities of material from warehouse building to staging area of production.
  • May assist with unloading of incoming shipments and loading of outgoing shipments to suppliers / customers.
  • Miscellaneous movement of material, dunnage, equipment, etc.
  • Assist Receiving/Warehouse personnel to prevent out of stock situations (ie: making sure they are aware of the last box taken out).
  • May assist in the proper storage of material into warehouse
  • Ensure safety precautions are adhered to for the warehouse/crib area.
  • May be required to conduct cycle counts as necessary.
  • Will be required to learn bar-coding, scanning procedure, and inventory system.
  • Transport trash containers to the dumpster.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES - N/A QS9000 RESPONSIBILITIES The QS9000 responsibilities listed below are required for this position. QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE High school diploma or equivalent; or 2 to 5 years of automotive experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to successfully complete hilo examination and training requirements for MIOSHA certification. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
