Job Title: Shipping and Receiving SpecialistJob DescriptionWe are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Specialist. The ideal candidate will have experience in shipping, receiving, packaging, and production. Candidates should be flexible and willing to learn different roles within the team. This role involves assembling adhesives and packaging orders for customers, requiring attention to detail, and the ability to compare numbers, read, and write in English.ResponsibilitiesWork in shipping, receiving, or on the production team as needed.Assemble adhesives and package orders for customers.Operate wrapping equipment for packaging.Create and enter labels using ShipGear, UPS, or similar systems.Manually enter information into a computer system.Cut rope or cable as part of the packaging process.Essential Skills1-2 years of shipping/receiving experience.6 months of packaging experience, including operating wrapping equipment.1+ years of experience with ShipGear or UPS systems.Ability to cut rope or cable.Detail-oriented with the ability to compare numbers accurately.Proficiency in reading and writing in English.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with FEDEX, USPS software.Ability to perform decimal calculations.Experience in warehouse operations.Why Work Here?Join a small family business that values a good attitude and teamwork.
